I've wanted so badly to love the RollingSquare charging products, but two cables in a row (the second sent as a replacement for the first) would randomly stop charging my devices. Super frustrating as the concept and form factor are very cool.

Does anyone actually want an accurate watch? A few freaks like me, perhaps. I like my watch to show the same time as my phone, to a very few seconds. For a decade I wore a solar-powered Citizen with radio sync. When it got (or gets: I still have it and another) the radio signal: within a second or two. I’m living in a fringe reception area, though, and without the signal it’s not a very good quartz watch, apart from not needing battery changes. Nowadays I wear a watch with one of ETA’s PreciDrive thermocompensated quartz movements. Mine was an old model on clearance. It’s accurate to roughly ten seconds a year. Certina and Tissot have a few current models, but they seem ashamed of them! They want people to buy watches with a Powermatic 80 inside, a mechanical movement… and they charge extra for that, and evidently people pay it! And it’s accurate… for a mechanical watch that runs at 3 Hz. (If you get a Powermatic 80 watch serviced, does the watchmaker simply replace the movement with a new one?) Solar power plus thermocompensated innards would be great. The Japanese domestic market has a few models, they’re expensive, and there’s nothing offered here in the USA. (Nobody wants them?) Anyone remember those ugly Citizen Satellite Wave watches that Citizen deigned to sell here in the USA? I bought a refurbished one when they were under $300. At least the satellites are easier to receive here than WWVB longwave radio. I guess that you look at your phone for accurate time… or your Apple Watch that gets it from your phone.

Nice review. Thanks! I bought Wifey and myself the rather economical and rugged, OLIGHT i1R2, and we couldn't be happier. It is rechargeable and tiny, and it puts out enough light to get an unexpected task accomplished. It has no uber-irritating, rubber charge port cover to fumble around with. And best of all, it has no push button, and therefore has never once gotten turned on accidentally while in my pocket. If you didn't already know this, any keychain light with a push button WILL get turned on in your pocket or purse sooner or later, and this can ruin a battery.

Anyone who carries this kit should have some flavor of Fuji X100 or Ricoh GR in there. The M11 is serious kit, and rangefinders in general are useless for most shooters-- its sought out specifically.

What I hate about Bellroy is they always make things "water resistant" but never waterproof, not even the ridiculously expensive "All conditions" pockets. I'm never buying something from them again.

Rimowa aluminum products are worthless. I owned a $1200 aluminum Rimowa briefcase. Yes, it was beautiful. Keyword "was". As soon as it hit a hard surface in an accidental fall, I tried to have Rimowa fix it at my cost. The only solution they had was to sell me a new one. Totally worthless. Don't waste you money on Rimowa, like I did.
